Hoy domingo 2 de febrero se celebra la gala de entrega de los Saturn awards. Cabe recordar que en la edición anterior la película más premiada fue "Avatar: el sentido del agua".
En esta edición, quitagésimo segunda edición los films más nominados son "Dune: parte dos" con catorce, "Bitelchús Bitelchús" con trece y "Deadpool y Lobezno" con diez. Creo que el largometraje de Denis Viulleneuve merece ser el más galardonado en estos premios incluyendo mejor película de ciencia-ficción y dirección. Como mejor film fantástico los votantes pueden acordarse de "Pobres criaturas" o premiar la secuela de Tim Burton, como mejor película terrorífica destaca "Longless", como mejor thriller estaría bien que ganara "Civil war", como mejor cinta de aventuras o acción parece que la favorita es "Deadpool y Lobezno" como mejor film animado "Spiderman: Cruzando el multiverso".
Por lo que respecta a los apartados interpretativos, como mejores actuaciones protagonistas sobresalen Nicolas Cage y la favorita al Oscar Demi Moore mientras que como mejores secundarios Nicolas Cage podría ser doblemente premiado y ser premiada Juliette Lewis o Margaret Qualley, ausente en los Oscar. Como mejor intérprete joven puede ganar la actriz de "Wonka" o la más conocida Jenna Ortega.
Sobre los rubros técnicos, "Dune: parte dos" puede obtener varios como mejor montaje y diseño de producción, "Wonka" el de mejor vestuario y "La sustancia" el de mejor maquillaje.
Además, en otras categorías importantes, como mejor película animada tiene opciones de ganar "Robot salvaje" o "El chico y la garza", como mejor film independiente quizás sea favorito "La sustancia" y como mejor largometraje extranjero estaría bien que fuera premiado el español "La sociedad de la nieve".
