Ganadores premios GOTHAM 2025:

  Llega la temporada de premios: el pasado domingo en los premios BIFA del cine independiente británico triunfó el filme "Pillion" y este lunes día 1 de diciembre se han celebrado los premios Gotham. Cabe recordar que el año pasado dio la sorpresa "A different man" en mejor película.

En esta edición el título más nominado fue "Una batalla tras otra" que solamente se ha llevado el premio a mejor largometraje aunque parece una señal de que la película de P. T. Anderson domine la temporada de premios. 

Hay que tener en cuenta que el filme más premiado ha sido "Un simple accidente" con tres premios correspondientes a mejor dirección, guion original y película internacional. Se da la circunstancia de que horas antes de estos premios, Jafar Panahi ha sido condenado por el Tribunal Revolucionario Islámico de Teherán a un año de prisión y a dos años de prohibición a viajar fuera del país. Así pues, los premios obtenidos hasta ahora para la película y factores externos pueden ayudar a que "Un simple accidente" sea muy tenido en cuenta en próximas nominaciones y en la carrera hacia el Oscar.

Sobre los premios de interpretación, en los Gotham no han sido premiados nombres más conocidos como Rose Byrne, Stellan Skarsgard o Chase Infiniti sino Sopé Dirisú, Wunmi Mosaku y Abou Sangare por una película de la temporada anterior pero que se estrenó este año. 

Además, en cuanto a otros apartados, como mejor dirección novel ha sido premiado el director de "La sombra de mi padre" y me alegro de que haya ganado "Pillion" en mejor guion adaptado a partir de la novela "Box hill".
