Hoy domingo día 15 de septiembre se celebra la gala de entrega de los premios Emmy a las mejores series del año que se podrá seguir a partir de las 02:00h (hora española) a través de Movistar + y los presentadores del evento son los actores Dan y Eugene Levy. Cabe recordar que la anterior ceremonia fue el pasado enero debido a la huelga de guionistas y fueron premiados los títulos "Succession", "The bear" y "Bronca".
En esta septagésima sexta edición 'Shogun' es la serie más nominada con 25 candidaturas seguida por 'The Bear' con 23 (récord histórico para una comedia).
Hay que señalar que en los Creative arts Emmys que se dieron la semana pasada, 'Shōgun' consiguió catorce premios en las categorías técnicas y se convirtió en la serie más premiada en una edición. También se anunciaron los ganadores en los apartados de mejores actrices y actores invitados.
En primer lugar, en el ámbito de series de drama parece que la favorita indiscutible es "Shogun" que puede la más premiada en las categorías principales de mejor serie dramática, actuaciones principales, dirección y guion.
Por lo que respecta a los apartados interpretativos como mejores actuaciones protagonistas están mejor posicionados para ser premiados los intérpretes de "Shogun" aunque hay que tener en cuenta a Gary Oldman y a Jennifer Aniston. Como mejores secundarios parecen los preferidos Billy Crudup (sería su segundo Emmy) y Elizabeth Debicki, el único premio destacable para la serie "The Crown".

En segundo lugar, en el ámbito de series cómicas, aunque "The bear" no es estrictamente una comedia y el motivo principal de que esté aquí es la corta duración de sus capítulos, todo indica que volverá a ser la triunfadora en las categorías principales incluyendo mejor dirección y guion. La única alternativa que podría hacerle sombra es "Hacks".
En los apartados de actuación, como intérpretes principales los favoritos son Jeremy Allen White y Jean Smart aunque si "The bear" arrasa también podría ganar Ayo Edebiri. Como mejores actuaciones de reparto destacan Ebon Moss-Bachrach y Hannah Einbinder, si se lo permite Meryl Streep.

En tercer término, la miniserie revelación del año ha sido "Mi reno de peluche" que es posible que triunfe a lo grande con varios premios incluyendo mejor dirección (el inolvidable cuarto capítulo) y guion. Aunque esta producción merece ser premiada, mi preferida es "Ripley".
Como mejores interpretaciones, en los apartados principales los favoritos serían Richard Gadd y Jodie Foster si bien les siguen Andrew Scott y Brie Larson. En apartados secundarios destacan Jonathan Bailey y Jessica Gunning aunque también podría ganar Robert Downey Jr.
