Predicción ganadores Music city film critics association:

 Después de que la crítica de Columbus premiara a la película "Una joven prometedora", el lunes día 11 de enero es importante en la temporada de premios, ya que aparte de conocer las nomaciones a los premios Goya, se dan a conocer los ganadores de varios premios. Uno de ellos es el que otorgan los críticos de Nashville, que el año pasado premiaron el film "1917". En la presente edición "Mank" lidera con nueve nominaciones y aunque es posible que obtenga algún premio en apartados técnicos, "Nomadland" es la máxima favorita y podría ser premiada en categorías principales como mejor largometraje y dirección. También cabe la posibilidad de que obtengan más de un premio "El juicio de los 7 de Chicago" y "Soul".

En cuanto a los premios de interpretación, Frances McDomand, Chadwick Boseman, Yuh-Yung Joun y Leslie Odom Jr. tienen opciones de ganar, si bien hay que tener en cuenta a Carey Mulligan, Delroy Lindo, Maria Bakalova o Paul Raci. 

Sobre otros apartados significativos, "Dick Johnson is dead" puede ser premiado como mejor documental (aunque también destacan "Collective" y "El dilema de las redes"), "Soul" como mejor largometraje de animación (aunque mi favorito sería "Wolfwalkers") y el danés "Another round" como mejor film de habla no inglesa pese al español "El hoyo".
