- Predicción ganadores gremio EDITORES DE SONIDO 2018:

Otro de los gremios que da a conocer sus premios es el de edición de sonido. La sociedad de editores de sonido de películas empezó a dar sus premios en 1988 y han sido premiadas como mejor edición de sonido films como "Abyss", "Parque Jurásico", "Matrix", "La guerra de los mundos", "Skyfall" y "Hasta el último hombre" el año pasado. 

Este año las más nominadas y favoritas son "Blade runner 2049", "Dunkerque", "La forma del agua" y "Baby driver" y estas cuatro películas junto con "Star Wars: los últimos Jedi" están nominadas al Oscar en este apartado. En la categoría importante de mejores efectos de sonido tienen opciones de ganar el film de Villeneuve o el de Nolan. No es fácil distinguir bien el ganador a mejor edición de diálogos pero podría ser "La forma del agua" o "Baby driver". Como mejor edición de música puede recibir el premio "Dunkerque" o "Blade runner 2049". Por su parte, en este gremio como mejor película de habla no inglesa, tiene posibilidades de ganar la rusa "Loveless", que obtuvo el premio a mejor sonido en los premios del cine europeo.

En otras categorías, la edición de sonido en film musical puede ser para "Coco" o "La bella y la bestia", en un largometraje documental tendría sentido darle el premio a "The pursuit of silence" o "Score: a film music documentary", y, por último, en una cinta de animación es posible que vuelva a destacar "Coco".
