Ganadores de la asociación de críticos de Minnesota:

 Después de conocer que los títulos "La madre del blues", "Una joven prometedora" y "Mulán" han sido reconocidos por el sindicato de diseño de vestuario, ayer miércoles día 14 de abril también se anunciaron los ganadores de la alianza de críticos de Minnesota en su primera edición y así sumarse a las múltiples asociaciones de críticos de Estados Unidos. Como ha sido la tónica general en la carrera en que la película "Nomadland" ha dominado los reconocimientos, el film de Chloe Zha ha obtenido tres reconocimientos a mejor largometraje, dirección y fotografía, siendo favorito al Oscar en estos apartados. 

El cuarteto de ganadores en las categorías interpretativas bien podría ser el de los premios de la Academia: Chadwick Boseman (ex aequo con Delroy Lindo), Carey Mulligan, Daniel Kaluuya y Youn Juh-Yung. 

Eh cuanto a otros apartados, como mejor guion ha ganado "Una joven prometedora", "Sound of metal" se ha llevado dos premios correspondientes a mejor montaje y sonido (es probable que obtenga estos premios en los Oscar), la música de "Soul" ha tenido otro reconocimiento pero como mejor film de animación ha ganado "Wolfwalkers". 

Para acabar con los rubros técnicos, la película "Aves de presa" ha sido premiada como mejor diseño de producción y "El hombre invisble" como mejores efectos visuales, siendo dos títulos que no han logrado ser nominados a los Oscar.
