Mañana domingo día 23 de febrero también se conocerán los ganadores del gremio de editores de sonido que concede la Motion Picture Sound Editors Golden Reel Awards (MPSE). Cabe recordar que el año pasado la película "Oppenheimer" ganó en este gremio y luego el Oscar a mejor sonido.
Este año los films 'Dune: Parte dos' y 'Deadpool y Lobezno' obtuvieron tres nominaciones cada uno y el primero puede ganar el premio a mejores efectos sonoros.
Como mejor edición de diálogos también puede ser premiado el largometraje de Denis Villeneuve pero hay que tener en cuenta a "Wicked" que podría llevarse el premio a mejor edición de música y no hay que olvidar a "Un completo desconocido".
