Hoy domingo día 8 de marzo también se celebra la gala de entrega de los Saturn awards en el Universal Hilton de Los Ángeles (presentada por Joel McHale) que reconoce a las mejores películas y series de géneros diferentes. Cabe recordar que el año pasado fueron premiados los films "Dune: parte dos" y "Bitelchús Bitelchús".
En esta quintagésima tercera edición, en el ámbito cinematográfico, los títulos que obtuvieron más nominaciones son los siguientes: "Los pecadores" y "Avatar: fuego y ceniza" con doce cada uno, "Frankenstein" y "Los 4 fantásticos: primeros pasos" con once, "Wicked: parte II" con nueve y "Superman" con ocho. Creo que el film de Ryan Coogler puede ser uno de los más premiados. En las categorías principales, como mejor largometraje de ciencia ficción destaca la tercera entrega de "Avatar" aunque no hay que descartar a "Bugonia", como mejor film fantástico opto por "La vida de Chuck" con permiso de "Hamnet", como mejor cinta de terror merece ser premiada "Weapons", como mejor adaptación al cine de otro medio sobresale "Los 4 fantásticos: primeros pasos", como mejor película de suspense ganaría "Los pecadores", que también puede llevarse los premios a mejor direción y guion y como mejor largometraje de acción sería reconocida la última entrega de "Misión: imposible".
Por lo que respecta a los apartados interpretativos, como mejores protagonistas están bien posicionados para ser premiados los nominados al Oscar Michael B. Jordan y Emma Stone, así como Jacob Elordi y Ami Magigan como mejores secundarios (también nominados al Oscar), mientras que como mejor intérprete joven sería premiado Miles Caton.
En cuantoa los rubros técnicos, "Los pecadores" tiene posibilidades de llevarse los correspondientes a mejor montaje y música y "Frankenstein" puede obtener varios premios como mejor diseño de producción, vestuario y maquillaje.
Sobre otras categorías importantes, como mejor film independiente destaco "The plague", como mejor largometraje internacional estaría bien que fuera reconocido el australiano "Devuélvemela", como mejor film animado opto por "Zootrópolis 2" y como mejor película animada internacional por el japonés "Guardianes de la noche: la fortaleza infinita".

En el ámbito de series de TV, en la edición anterior obtuvieron más de un premio "El pingüino" y "Cobra Kai".
Este año los títulos más nominados son "Dexter: resurrección" con seis nominaciones, seguido con cinco "It: bienvenidos a Derry", "Atrapando a un monstruo", "Predator: badlands" y "Andor".
Como mejor serie de ciencia ficción destaca la segunda temporada de "Andor", como mejor serie fantástica opto por "Outlander" aunque puede ganar la última temporada de "Stranger things", como mejor serie terrorífica tiene opcioens de ser premiada "It: bienvenidos a Derry", como mejor nueva serie mi preferida sería "Pluribus", como mejor serie de suspense la favorita podría ser "Dexter: resurrección", como mejor serie de acción me decanto por "Paradise", como mejor serie de superhéroes sobresale "El pacificador", como mejor evento televisivo destaca "The Pitt" y como mejor serie animada "Tu amigo y vecino Spider-man".
Sobre los apartados interpretativos, coomo mejores intérpretes protagonistasn están bien posicionados Sterling K. Brown y Rhea Seehorn cuyas respectivas series pueden ser premiadas aunque no hay que olvidar a Adam Scott y Brit Lower por "Separación". Como mejores actuaciones de reparto opto por James Marsden y Julianne Nicholson, mientras que como mejor actuación invitada podría ganar Linda Hamilton y como mejor intérprete joven me decanto por Jaz Sinclair.
Para acabar, en los apartados sobre home-video pueden ser reconocidos la última entrega de "Misión: imposible", la colección de cintas de James Bond con Sean Connery y el cuarenta aniversario de "The re-animator".
