El pasado lunes día 7 de agosto se anunciaron los ganadores de los premios de la Asociación de críticos televisivos estadounidenses sin una gala presencial debido a las huelgas de SAG-AFTRA y la WGA que parece que van para largo y veremos cómo afecta a la próxima temporada de premios.
Cabe recordar que el año pasado la serie más premiada fue "Colegio Abbott". En esta edición "Succession" se ha llevado dos premios a mejor programa del año y serie dramática por encima de otros títulos como "The white lotus" y "The bear" también obtuvo dos premios a mejor serie cómica por delante de la anterior ganadora y mejor nuevo programa.
En cuanto a los apartados interpretativos, por un lado, como mejor actuación en comedia fue premiada Natasha Lyonnee por "Poker face" aunque estaban nominados Quinta Brunson y Jereeemy Alleen White; por el otro, como mejor interpretación de drama fue reconocida Rhea Seehorn si bien eran candidatos varios actores de "Succession".
Por último, como mejor miniserie o telefilm ganó "Beef" aunque destacaban producciones como "Fleishman está en apuros" o "Weird".
