Este domingo 18 de febrero hay varios premios de la temporada como la ceremonia de entrega de los galardones de la academia de cine británica en Londres.
En esta edición 'Oppenheimer' es la película más nominada con trece menciones, seguida de "Pobres criaturas" con once y ambas pueden ser las más premiadas. 'La zona de interés' consiguió nueve nominaciones pero no entró en mejor película. Martin Scorsese y Yorgos Lanthimos se quedaron fuera de mejor dirección. Algunas ausencias llamativas en las categorías interpretativas son Lily Gladstone, Leonardo DiCaprio, Andrew Scott, Jeffrey Wright, Greta Lee, Mark Ruffalo y las actrices de 'Nyad'.
