Quiniela ganadores CRITICS CHOICE awards 2019:

En estos días intensos de la temporada de premios, hoy domingo día 12 además de conocer las nominaciones a los premios Razzie, un día antes del anuncio de las nominaciones a los Oscar tiene lugar la gala de entrega de los premios de la crítica cinematográfica, uno de los cuatro galardones más importantes de la carrera hacia el Oscar. En la pasada edición "Roma" obtuvo cuatro premios Critics choice. 

En esta vigésimo quinta edición los títulos que parten con más candidaturas son "El irlandés" con catorce, "Erase una vez en... Hollywood" con doce y "Mujercitas" con nueve. Aparte de la sorprendente victoria de "1917" en los Globos de oro y de que los films de Netflix "El irlandés" e "Historia de un matrimonio" sean de los favoritos, creo que da la impresión de que este año se quiere reconocer la penúltima película de Tarantino, por lo que cabe la posibilidad de que sea premiado en las categorías principales. 

En los apartados de interpretación, como mejores intérpretes protagonistas Joaquin Phoenix y Renée Zellwegger pueden afianzar su posición de preferidos aunque hay que tener en cuenta a Leonardo DiCaprio, Antonio Banderas, Scarlett Johansson (que ha logrado doble nominación) y Awkwafina. Como mejores intérpretes secundarios, es probable que Laura Dern y Brad Pitt sean premiados pero también hay que destacar a Jennifer Lopez, Florence Pugh, Willem Dafoe y Joe Pesci. Como mejor intérprete joven hay tres de "Jojo rabbit" pero opto por Grifin Davis y, como mejor reparto uno de los más llamativos es el de "Puñales por la espalda". 

Sobre los mejores guiones, en original estaría bien que ganara "Historia de un matrimonio" pero también puede hacerlo "Erase una vez en... Hollywood" (si es la triunfadora) o "Parásitos", mientras que en adaptado parece que el favorito es "El irlandés". 

En cuanto a los apartados técnicos, es posible que "1917" obtenga varias menciones a mejor banda sonora y fotografía. 

Por lo que respecta a otros galardones significativos, como mejor película de acción merecería ganar "1917" ( si no es premiada como mejor largometraje), como mejor film de animación sobresale "Toy story 4", como mejor película de habla no inglesa sin duda la preferida es la surcoreana "Parásitos", como mejor comedia estaría bien que fuera reconocida "Jojo rabbit" y, como mejor film de ciencia-ficción merece ser reconocido "Ad astra".

En el ámbito televisivo, el año pasado fueron premiadas las series "The americans", "La maravillosa Sra. Maisel" y la miniserie "El asesinato de Gianni Versace". 

En la presente edición, los títulos que tienen más nominaciones son los siguientes: "When they see us" con seis, y "This is us" y "Schitt's creek" con cinco cada una. 

Por un lado, como mejor serie dramática hay que tener en cuenta el reciente triunfo de "Succession" en los Globos de oro pero considero que la última temporada de "Juego de tronos" merece coronarse en los Critics choice como hizo en los premios Emmy. Como mejores intérpretes principales de drama, es posible que sean premiados Billy Porter (ganó el Emmy) y Olivia Colman ( ha ganado el Globo de oro) pero también son fuertes candidatos Jeremy Strong (si es reconocida "Succession") y Jodie Comer (que obtuvo el Emmy). Como mejores intérpretes de reparto en drama opto por Peter Dinklage y Helena Bonham-Carter; hay que decir que en estos dos apartados no parece haber claros favoritos y se puede dividir el voto entre Laura Dern y Meryl Streep. 

Por el otro lado, como mejor comedia, tras ganar en los Emmy y los Globos de oro "Fleabag" podría sumar otro premio gordo, con permiso de "Barry" y "La maravillosa Sra. Maisel". Como mejores intérpretes protagonistas destacan Ramy Youssef y Phoebe Waller-Bridge (ambos han ganado el Globo de oro en su categoría) pero hay que tener en cuenta a Ted Danson, Rachel Brosnahan y Kirsten Dunst. Como mejores intérpretes de reparto me decanto por Andrew Scott (que está en la posible triunfadora "Fleabag") y Alex Borstein, que ya ganó el año pasado. 

Por su parte, como mejor miniserie merece el premio "Chernobyl" aunque son fuertes también "When they see us" y "Fosse/Verdon" mientras que como mejor telefilm estaría bien que ganara "Deadwood" o el de "Breaking bad". Como mejores intérpretes principales los favoritos parecen ser Jharrel Jerome y Michelle Williams aunque son potentes Sam Rockwell, Jarred Harris y Joey King. Mientras, como mejores secundarios tienen posibilidades de ganar Stellan Skarsgard y Patricia Arquette (tras ganar el Globo de oro) pero estaría bien que fueran premiados Jesse Plemons y Toni Colette. 

Para terminar, como mejor serie de animación parece que las favoritas son "Undone" y "Cristal oscuro".
