Después de conocer que la película "Nomadland" ha ganado tres premios por la crítica de Toronto, hoy lunes 8 de febrero se han anunciado los ganadores de los críticos de Washington. Cabe recordar que en la pasada edición "Parásitos" venció en estos críticos.
Ayer se conocieron sus nominaciones en que "Minari" obtuvo ocho nominaciones. De nuevo el film de Chloe Zhao ha sido el más reconocido con cinco de los seis premios a los que optaba incluyendo mejor largometraje, dirección, actriz para Frances McDormand, guion adaptado y fotografía.
En cuanto a los apartados de interpretación, Chadwick Boseman, Leslie Odom Jr. y Juh-Jung Youn han obtenido otro reconocimiento más y Alan Kim ha ganado como mejor intérprete joven, por lo que "Minari" ha recibidos dos premios, así como "One night in Miami" también como mejor reparto.
Además, "Soul" ha sido premiada en tres apartados: mejor película de animación, música original e interpretación vocal para Jamie Foxx.
Por otra parte, otros títulos fueron premiados ya que "Tenet" ganó en mejor montaje, "Mank" en mejor diseño de producción y "Wonder woman 1984" en mejores efectos visuales.
Para acabar, el danés "Another round" fue premiado como mejor film de habla no inglesa y "Boys state" como mejor documental.
