Ganadores premios International Cinephile Society:

    Hoy sábado día 20 de febrero se han dado a conocer los ganadores de los ICS awards de la sociedad internacional de cinéfilos, que son más originales en su reconociemiento y se desmarcan de la tónica general de la temporada de premios. En las ediciones anteriores fueron premiados como mejores películas la española "Dolor y gloria" y la argentina "Zama". 

En la presente edición el film chino "Dwelling in the fuchun mountains" de Gu Xiaogang (que tuvo su premiere en Cannes 2019 y se pudo ver el año pasado en el D'A de Barcxelona) ha ganado tres premios a mejor largometraje, fotografía y ópera prima. Cabe decir que el español "La virden de agosto" ha quedado en séptima posición de 25. También ha obtenido tres premios el brasileño "Bacurau": mejor actriz secundaria para Sonia Braga, reparto y guion original. Ha recibido dos premios en categorías importantes "First cow" a mejor dirección para Kelly Reichardt y guion adaptado.

 Cabe señalar que han sido premiados en apartados interpretativos como mejor actor Aditya Modak por "The disciple" por encima de Riz Ahmed y Bastosz Bilenia, como mejor actriz Isabel Sandoval por "Lingua franca" por delante de Marta Nieto y Sidney Flanigan y Francisco Barreiro por "Fauna" por encima de Paul Raci, así como Sonia Braga como mejor actriz secundaria por delante de Yuh jung-Youn. 

Por lo demás, en otras categorías importantes han sido reconocidas la española "El año del descubrimiento" como mejor película documental y la coproducción francesa "Josep" como mejor película de animación.
