- Predicción ganadores premios críticos de LONDRES 2018:

Hoy se dan a conocer los ganadores de los premios que concede la crítica de la capital del Reino Unido a las mejores películas del año. En la edición anterior triunfó "La la land" de Damien Chazelle y este año parten como favoritas "Tres anuncios en las afueras" de Martin McDonagh y "La forma del agua" de Guillermo del Toro, que pueden ser las más premiadas. Teniendo en cuenta que la primera es una coproducción entre Reino Unido y Estados Unidos, creo que tiene más posibilidades de resultar vencedora en estos premios, por lo que puede obtener premios en categorías importantes como mejor película y guion. Sin embargo, como mejor director es posible que gane Guillermo del Toro.

Como mejor película británica están dos títulos potentes como "Dunkerque" de Christopher Nolan y "Tres anuncios en las afueras" (compiten también por mejor film) pero me decanto por "Lady Macbeth" aunque me gustaría que ganara "Tierra de Dios". Por su parte, como mejor película extranjera opto por la magnífica película francesa "Elle" de Paul Verhoeven, aunque también merecería ganar la brasileña "Aquarius" o la surcoreana "The handmaiden". Como mejor documental destaca "I am not your negro" que fue finalista al Oscar. 

En las categorías interpretativas, como mejor actor el favorito es Gary Oldman por "El instante más oscuro" y como mejor actriz Frances McDormand por el film de McDonagh. Como actores de reparto, también parten con ventaja Sam Rockwell por "Tres anuncios en las afueras" y Allison Janney por "Yo, Tonya". En cuanto a mejores intérpretes británicos, por un  lado están también Gary Oldman y Daniel Day-Lewis por "El hilo invisible" pero me decanto por Daniel Kaluuya por "Déjame salir". Por el otro, están nominadas Saoirse Ronan por "Lady bird" y Florence Pugh por "Lady Macbeth" pero mi debilidad es Sally Hawkins por "La forma del agua". 

Por lo que respecta a las revelaciones del año, están los directores de "Tierra de Dios" y "I am not a witch" pero también destaca William Oldroyd por "Lady Macbeth". Como mejor actor revelación puede ganar Tom Holland por "Z. La ciudad perdida" y "Spiderman homecoming" pero hay que tener en cuenta a Fionn Whitehead por "Dunkerque". 

Por último, como mejor logro técnico, estaría bien premiar al film de James Gray "Z. La ciudad perdida" por la fotografía de Darius Khondji, ya que aunque se estrenó hace meses tendría que haber sido reconocido en la temporada de premios.
