Quiniela ganadores CRITICS CHOICE AWARDS 2017:

Hoy día 11 de enero se celebra la gala de entrega de los premios de la crítica cinematográfica (Critics choice awards) a las mejores producciones del año. Estos galardones nacieron en el año 1995 y son otorgados por la Broadcast film critics association. A lo largo de sus ediciones han ganado el Critic choice a mejor película títulos como "L.A. Confidential", "Gladiator", "Chicago", "Brokeback mountain", "La red social", "Boyhood" y "La la land" el año pasado, algunos de los cuales ganaron el Oscar a mejor film como "Gladiator" y otros ganaron el Critic choice pero luego no el Oscar, aunque lo tendrían que haber ganado como "La red social". 

En la edición de este año parte con más nominaciones "La forma del agua" con 14 nominaciones, seguida de "Lady bird", "Los archivos del Pentágono", "Dunkerque" y "Call me by your name" con ocho cada una. Sin embargo, y teniendo en cuenta lo ocurrido en los Globos de oro, "Tres anuncios en las afueras" (que tiene 6 nominaciones) puede ganar como mejor película. Los premios se repartirían sobre todo entre la cinta de Martin McDonagh y la de Guillermo del Toro que puede alzarse como mejor director (ambas películas son las mejores posicionadas en la temporada de premios). 

En cuanto a las categorías de interpretación, tienen muchas opciones de ganar Gary Oldman, Frances McDormand, Sam Rockwell y Allison Janney, aunque también son fuertes candidatos Sally Hawkins, Willem Dafoe o Laurie Metcalf.

Además, en los apartados técnicos pueden distribuirse los premios a "La forma del agua" como mejor banda sonora o maquillaje y "Blade runner 2049" como mejor fotografía. Estaría bien que "Dunkerque"no se fuera de vacío, como un premio a mejor montaje, pero lo tiene complicado. 

En otras categorías, como mejor film de animación es probable que gane "Coco" y como mejor comedia y actriz de comedia "Lady bird" y su intérprete Saoirse Ronan. Si "La forma del agua" no gana como mejor película, es posible que obtenga el premio a mejor film de ciencia ficción.

Por su parte, en la categoría de televisión, el año pasado ganaron los Critics choice las series "Juego de tronos", "Sillicon Valley" y la miniserie "American crime story: the people v. O.J. Simpson". En cambio, en la presente edición, todo apunta a que puede triunfar "El cuento de la criada" como mejor serie en drama, si bien hay que tener en cuenta también a "The Crown" y "This is us". En este apartado de drama, las actrices de "El cuento de la criada" Elizabeth  Moss y Ann Down pueden ganar el Critic choice, mientras que Sterling K. Brown parte con ventaja como mejor actor protagonista. 

En la categoría de series de comedia, el triunfo en los Globos de oro de "The marvelous Mrs. Maisiel" puede hacer que gane en estos premios a mejor serie y actriz de comedia, así como Asiz Anzari por "Master of none". 

Por otro lado, como mejor miniserie parece clara la victoria de "Big Little lies" tras los premios Emmy y Globos de oro, aunque "Feud: Bette and Joan" y "Fargo" son fuertes candidatas. Los actores de "Big Little lies" Nicole Kidman, Laura Dern y Alexander Skarsgard también repetirían premios, así como Ewan McGregor por "Fargo".

Por último, hay que destacar que como mejor telefilm, por su alta calidad tendría que ganar "Sherlock: the lying detective".
