Ganadores de los premios del Women film critics circle:

 Hoy día 8 de marzo, día internacional de la Mujer, se han dado a conocer los premios del círculo de críticos de cine de mujeres.  La película "Una joven prometedora" ha sido la triunfadora con cuatro premios incluyendo mejor largometraje sobre mujeres y actriz para Carey Mulligan. Los otros títulos que han obtenido dos premios son "Ammonite" y "Antebellum". El film "Nomadland" tan solo ha sido premiado como mejor largometraje dirigido por una mujer. 

En cuanto a los apartados de interpretación, como mejor actor ha sido premiado el favorito de la carrera Chadwick Boseman, como mejor heroína de acción ha sido reconocida Janelle Monae, también como valentía en la interpretación, y como mejor pareja en pantalla Kate Winslet y Saoirse Ronan.

Como mejor guionista femenina ha sido premiada Eliza Hittman por "Nunca, casi nunca, a veces, siempre" y Emerald Fennell por su valentía en la dirección.

Además, sobre otras categorías importantes, "La llorona" ha sido elegida como mejor película extranjera dirigida por una mujer y "Stuntwomen: the untold Hollywood story" como mejor documental dirigido por una mujer. 

Para terminar, en el apartado de mejor igualdad de sexos ha sido premiado el film "Emma".
