Predicción ganadores BLACK REEL awards 2019:

Mañana día 7 de febrero se anuncian los ganadores de la décimonovena edición de los premios Black Reel que concede a las mejores películas del año realizdas por americanos-africanos. En la pasada edición triunfó "Déjame salir" de Jordan Peele.

Este año "Black panther" ha echo historia en estos premios al obtener 17 nominaciones, seguida de "El blues de Beale street" con catorce candidaturas e "Infiltrado en el KKKlan" con once. Cualquiera de las tres merecen ganar en los Black Reel pero quizás como mejor película tiene más opciones "Black panther" (que puede ser la más premiada) mientras que como mejor dirección Spike Lee por "Infiltrado en el KKKlan", título que también puede llevarse el premio a mejor guion.

En las categorías interpretativas, por un lado, como mejor actor protagonista destaca LaKeith Stanfield por "Sorry to bother you" (film que puede recibir varios premios) aunque también está John David Washington. Por el otro, como mejor actriz hay candidatas potentes como Viola Davis y Amandla Stenberg pero opto por Regina Hall por "Support the girls". Como mejores intérpretes de reparto tienen opciones de ganar Brian Tyree Henry y Regina King por "El blues de Beale street"; no obstante, lo más fácil es premiar a uno de los favoritos de la temporada Mahershaala Ali por "Green book", film que no ha recibido más menciones en estos premios. Además, como mejor reparto, al igual que ganó el premio del sindicato de actores, es probable que "Black panther" también lo gane aquí. 

Sobre los galardones de revelación, como mejor nuevo director destaca Boots Riley por "Sorry to bother you" aunque también hay que tener en cuenta a Reinald Marcus Green por "Monsters and men".

Por su parte, en apartados técnicos, puede recibir premios "El blues de Beale street" para la banda sonora y la fotografía, así como "Black panther" para el diseño de producción y el vestuario.  Como mejores intérpretes revelación, tiene posibilidades John David Washington si además no gana como mejor actor, y como mejor actriz revelación Kiki Layne o Cynthia Erivo.

Para acabar, en otros apartados importantes, como mejor película extranjera sobresale "Rafiki", como mejor documental  el premio recaería en "Hale County this morning, this evening" o "Amazing Grace" y como mejor película independiente estaría bien que ganara "Monsters and men".
