Predicción ganadores Critics choice DOCUMENTARY awards 2023:

 Después de que ayer se entregaran los premios Berlanga en que fueron premiados los films "Kepler sexto b" y "Olvido", hoy domingo día 12 de noviembre se anunciarán los ganadores de los Critics choice documentary awards que dan inicio a la carrera por el Oscar a mejor documental aunque cabe recordar que el año pasado triunfó en estos premios "Good night Oppy" pero luego no tuvo mucha presencia en la temporada de premios. 

En la presente edición el título "American symphony" es el más nominado con seis menciones y bien podría ser el triunfador pero me decanto por "Beyond utopia" de Madeleine Gavin (recibió el premio del público en el festival de Sundance) en las categorías principales de mejor largometraje de no ficción y dirección e incluso podría tener opciones como mejor montaje. 

Sobre los apartados técnicos, la miniserie "Los secretos de los elefantes" tiene posibilidades de ser premiado como mejor fotografía y narración con la voz de la actriz Natalie Portman, mientras que como mejor música hay que tener en cuenta que está nominado el compositor Philip Glass. 

Como mejores films de no ficción en varios ámbitos, en política sobresale "Beyond utopia", en el aspecto histórico destaca "The 1619 project", en ciencia o naturaleza estaría bien que ganara "El secreto de los elefantes", en biografía "Still: a Michael J. Fox movie", como mejor documental de archivo hay que valorar a "JFK: one day in America", en el aspecto deportivo destaca "The league" y en el musical "Ladies first".

Además, en otros apartados importantes, como mejor debut documental destaca "20 days in Mariupol", como mejor cortometraje de no ficción "Between Earth & sky", como mejor serie limitada documental puede ser premiado "JFK: one day in America", como mejor serie de no ficción opto por "Welcome to Wrexham" y, para acabar, como mejor documental true crime me decanto por "Telemarketers".
