Quiniela ganadores CRITICS CHOICE awards 2019:

Este domingo día 13 de enero hay una de las citas más importantes de la temporada de premios: la gala de entrega de los premios de la Crítica cinematográfica a las mejores películas y series del año. Estos premios son uno de los grandes que puede ganar una producción o intérprete y son un buen indicativo de cara a los Oscar, sin ir más lejos, el año pasado triunfó en los Critics choice "La forma del agua" que luego fue oscarizada. 

En esta vigésimo cuarta edición parten con más candidaturas "La favorita" con catorce, "Black panther" con "doce" y "First man" con diez. Considero que en las categorías principales puede ganar "Roma" aunque no sea estadounidense pero personalmente me decanto por "La favorita", que podría obtener los premios a mejor película y dirección. 

Los apartados interpretativos pueden ser bastante similares a los de los Oscar y este año se posicionan con cierta ventaja Rami Malek o Christian Bale, Glenn Close o Olivia Colman, Richard E. Grant o Mahershaala Ali y Regina King o Amy Adams, aunque puede haber alguna sorpresa. Como mejor intérprete joven por la joven protagonista de "Eighth grade" y como mejor reparto por "Black panther", que está nominada al Sindicato de actores en esta categoría.

Otro film que tiene opciones a ser premiado es "El blues de Beale street" como mejor guion adaptado, mientras que "La favorita" y "Roma" pueden ir con ventaja como mejor guion original. 

Además, en los apartados técnicos es posible que haya premio para "First man" como mejor música original, "Black panther" en efectos visuales y "Roma" en mejor fotografía, por ejemplo, además de mejor película de habla no inglesa. La duda está en si el film de Cuarón logrará hacer doblete en mejor largometraje. 

Por su parte, en las categorías separadas de mejor película de acción puede ganar "Black panther", como mejor film de terror "Un lugar tranquilo" o "Hereditary" y como mejor cinta de comedia "Crazy rich asians" o "La favorita", así como Christian Bale y Olivia Colman en este género.

Por lo que respecta al ámbito televisivo, las producciones más nominadas son "The americans" y "El asesinato de Gianni Versace" con cinco y "La maravillosa Sra. Maisel con cuatro. De hecho, precisamente estas tres tienen posibilidades de ganar en su respectiva categoría de drama, miniserie y comedia. 

En el apartado dramático, como mejor serie hay que tener en cuenta a la nueva "Homecoming" aunque estaría bien que "The americans" se despidiera a los grande tras ganar el Globo de oro. Como mejores intérpretes protagonistas, si "The americans" triunfa también puede hacerlo su pareja protagonista Matthew Rhys y Keri Russell, aunque son fuertes candidatos Milo Ventimiglia, Julia Roberts y Sandra Oh. Como mejores intérpretes de reparto, la masculina parece un poco más abierta aunque destaca Shea Whigham, mientras que en la femenina sobresalen Yvonne Strahovski y Thandie Newton. 

Por su parte, en series de comedia puede repetir triunfo "La maravillosa Sra. Maisel" aunque "Barry" también es potente. Los protagonistas de estas series, Rachel Brosnahan y Bill Hader pueden hacerse con el Critic choice. En los apartados de reparto, tienen opciones Brian Tyree Henry y Alex Borstein. 

Además, como mejor miniserie merece el galardón "El asesinato de Gianni Versace" o "Heridas abiertas" y como mejor telefilm "The tale". Como mejores protagonistas, Darren Criss puede sumar otro premio mientras que como mejor actriz el premio puede ser para Amy Adams, ya que Laura Dern ganó en estos premios el año pasado. Como mejores secundarios, la reciente victoria en los Globos de oro de Ben Whishaw y Patricia Clarkson pueden darles cierta ventaja. Por último, hay que señalar que parece que de nuevo los actores españoles nominados Antonio Banderas y Penélope Cruz se quedarán con el logro de la nominación.
