Mañana miércoles día 15 de febrero se anunciarán los ganadores de la Sociedad de Efectos Visuales (SEV). El año pasado fueron premiados en este gremio los films "Encanto" y "Dune".
En la presente edición "Avatar: el sentido del agua" es la película más nominada en la historia de estos premios con catorce nominaciones y es probable que sea la más premiada, teniendo en cuenta además que está nominada al Oscar a mejores efectos visuales y es la favorita en esta categoría. Así, como mejores efectos en acción real seguramente gane el film de James Cameron, como mejores efectos de apoyo en acción real estaría bien que fuera reconocido "Trece vidas" y como mejores efectos en animación parece bien posicionada la película ·"Pinocho de Guillermo del Toro".
Como mejores animaciones de personajes, en acción real me decanto por el de Kiri en "Avatar: el sentido del agua" mientras que en animación por el personaje de Pinocho en la cinta de Guillermo del Toro.
En el ámbito de mejores entornos, en acción real sobresale el arrecife del largometraje de James Cameron y en animación la jungla de "Mundo extraño".
Cabe añadir que la segunda entrega de "Avatar" podría obtener los rubros correspondientes a mejor fotografía virtual, mejores simulaciones de efectos y comnposición en acción real y el premio a la tecnología emergente sobre por el sistema facial de personajes.
