El pasado sábado 2 de abril se anunciaron en Los Ángeles los ganadores de los premios GLAAD media que concede la alianza gay y lesbiana contra la difamación y está prevista otra gala distinta el próximo 6 de mayo en Nueva York. Cabe recordar que el año pasado fueron premiados los films "La estación de la felicidad" y "Los chicos de la banda".
En esta edición, en las categorías principales de mejor largometraje ha ganado "Eternals" por encima de "West side story" y como mejor film de estreno limitado ha sido reconocido el español "Madres paralelas" por delante de otros títulos como "Shiva baby". Por su parte, como mejor largometraje de no ficción fue premiado "Changing the Game" y no "Flee" o "Pride".
En cuanto al ámbito televisivo, como mejor serie cómica ganó "Saved by the bell" mientras que como mejor seruie nueva hizo lo propio "Hacks" teniendo en cuenta otras nominadas como "Yellowjackets" y como mejor telefilm fue premiado "Single all the way". Por lo demás, sobre otros apartados importantes, como mejor serie limitada fue reconocida "It's a sin" aunque había un nivel notable de producciones como "Dopesick", "Halston" y "The white lotus" y, para acabar, como mejor serie en español fue galardonada "Maricón perdido" por encima de "Luimelia" y "Todo lo otro".
