Ayer domingo 6 de febrero, además de conocer que en el Círculo de críticos de Londres ganó la película "El poder del perro", se anunciaron los ganadores de la sociedad intrernacional de cinéfilos. En la edición anterior fueron premiados los films "Dwelling in the Fuchun Mountains" y "Bacurau".
Este año los títulos más nominados son "Benediction", "Onoda" y "El poder del perro" con ocho nominaciones cada uno. Había presencia española con "Quién lo impide" en mejor largometraje y reparto, "Madres paralelas" en mejor actriz y música y "Tres" en sonido.
Como mejor película ha sido reconocida "El acontecimiento" de Audrey Diwan y también ha obtenido el premio a mejor interpretación revelación para Anamaria Vartolomei. Por su parte, Jane Campion ha ganado en mejor dirección por "El poder del perro".
El film más premiado ha sido "Benediction" en los apartados de mejor actor para Jack Lowden, guion original y fotografía, mientras que "Drive my car" ha ganado en mejor guion adaptado. En las categorías de interpretación han sido reconocidos Lee Hye-yeong por "In front of your face", Anders Danielsen Lie por "La peor persona del mundo" y Ruth Negga por "Passing".
En apartados técnicos han sido premiados otros films como "Annette" en música, "Memoria" en sonido, "The souvenir. Parte II" en diseño de producción y "¿Qué hacemos cuando miramos al cielo?" en montaje.
En cuanto a otras categorías importantes cabe señalar que "The crossing" ha sido elegida mejor película de animación, "Mr. Bachmann and his class" mejor largometraje de no ficción y "Playground" mejor ópera prima.
